Cohort Format: Online – INTRO to Generosity – 1st session. If church leadership is interested in continuing, the church can sign up for the future sessions.

Online Cohort Meeting Dates:

·       Saturday, August 29, 2026

·       Saturday, October 17, 2026

·       Saturday, February 20, 2027

 

Who should participate? Each church should have a team of 3-5 members who can meet online (from home on individual devices) on the dates above and in-between on dates their team members choose. Consider the following people to participate:

  •    Lead Pastor or Associate Pastor;

  •    Church Officers;

  •    Finance Committee Members;

  •    Council/Leadership Team Members;

  •     Lay people who communicate well and/or exhibit generosity within your congregation.

Creating a Culture of Generosity

The goal of the cohort is to help church leaders communicate vision, community impact and opportunity to the congregation, while inspiring community engagement.

 

The ‘Creating a Culture of Generosity Cohort’ will explore the following themes:

·       Stewardship as Discipleship

·       Leadership as an Asset-based Journey

·       Mission as an Invitation Toward Impact

·       Fundraising is about Relationships

·       Generosity as Good News in Action.
